This course is part of our intermediate belly dance program and aims to introduce belly dance rhythms, developing the ability to recognize, understand, and interpret the most commonly used rhythms in Oriental Dance.
  • Learn key rhythms: Fox, Malfuf, Vals, Wahda, Maksum, Baladi, Saidi, Masmoudi, Samai, and Darij
  • Develop rhythmic listening to identify patterns, accents, and structures

International performing artist, creator and educator with over 30 years of experience in Oriental Dance, musical theatre and artistic direction.

Artistic and Content Director of Orientalisimo Academy, Artistic Director of the Alina Babayan Dance School (Barcelona, 2026), and Artistic Director of Orientalísimo Weekend, International Dance Festival.

He has developed an extensive international career as a performer, choreographer, master teacher and judge at major dance festivals worldwide, working in more than 30 countries across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
